Free am I now to fight

A poem  by Gururaj Ananda Yogi

What can I say which could be said in words..
Yet the soul flows in so many words.. yet speaks without sound
Whistling  wind blows and affects not the flowering flower.
Knowing well that sound and sight resides in the heart’s tower.

Why now givest thou me this love divine
When ages past in search to find
The oneness with the soul to set afire
Blazing through  eternity and clinging mire?

Free am I to love you  with all I can
Free am I to know that I am, God and man
All shackles are gone in love’s delight
Free am I now, to fight
